Experience regarding sister tutor and community health nursing teacher of MNI

I am Ankita Banerjee, Sister Tutor of Manisha Nursing Institute, Rahul Foundation.

It is a wonderful college where I'm constantly inspired by my students' enthusiasm and dedication to learning. The college's supportive environment and state-of-the-art facilities make it an ideal place to teach and mentor. From the joining date, I was handed over the subject of community health nursing.

Community Health Nursing (CHN) focuses on promoting health and preventing disease within communities. It involves assessing health needs, providing education and support, and advocating for equitable health care. We have a Community Health Nursing Lab to provide a simulated environment for students to practice CHN skills, such as health assessments, home visits, and health education. Equipped with necessary tools and resources, the lab allows students to develop clinical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking in a controlled setting, preparing them for real-world community health nursing practice. This hands-on experience fosters confident and competent community health nurses.
